New version of FriendsLight

I turned off the page border completely. I think it looks a lot better this way. Also turned off the underline for hover, and replaced the gradient fill in the heading with a solid color. The gradient fill probably looks great on a CRT, but on my ThinkPad it is streaky and distracting.

Will revisit the other issues later.

Here’s the new version. Enjoy!

Friendslight only supports 2 columns? With Firefox i have the problem of a vanishing 3 third column after clicking on ‘administration’ in the administration block.

Sorry I didn’t notice your comment until just now, Joern. (I just installed the Notify module so I’ll be able to keep more up to date on comments!)

The disappearing third column in admin pages is deliberate. I found that many of the admin and content creation/editing pages were too wide to allow three columns, so I put some code in the theme to drop the right-hand block for these pages.

This should be user-configurable, but it’s hard coded at the moment. If you don’t like this behavior, remove the code in lines 5 through 14 of page.tpl.php beginning with the comment:

// Turn off right sidebar for admin and content creation/editing pages
