Love to See This on the iPhone!

I’ve been trying to get this to work on the iPhone. All I really want is to be able to have the map full screen on the iPhone. I wouldn’t mind tracking WI votes, but really care about the entire map.

Unfortunately just not familiar enough with the code to understand how to hack it up myself … and the w=h= stuff in the URL doesn’t seem to do what I think it should.

Got a top-secret URL I could use?

Congrats on the launch, Michael! Very cool app.

By the way, I told Mika Tuupola that I’d pass on his tweet: “Bit confusing that http://maps.google.com/vote/ does not work but http://maps.google.com/vote works.” Wonder if that’s something that Google can fix. Simple apache/.htaccess change.

Looking forward to seeing the voting location info added later this month.

Great post Michael. I live in the UK, but have know about Ron Paul since I was about 16 or so. We really don’t have politicians like that in this country. No one speaks out against anything, its just the same old lines.

It would be great to see Ron Paul at least make a big dent into Republicrats. I particularly like how he has harnessed social media and avenues like YouTube

i’m glad that ron paul runs on his positions, rather than on politics, but his positions are nutty as a whole. individual ones are quite seductive, but the whole picture is a recipe for, well, a recipe for knocking down an entire society that despite many flaws, still functions quite well.

I’m sure that you know that real operating systems use UTC and only use time zones and daylight saving when displaying or receiving time. Every user and even every process may be using a different time zone. This also ensures that file timestamps are consistent with each other.

Wow - I’ve been using Firefox for months now, and I’ve never seen a website as messed up as the Democrats’. Nice observation about the LP site - as a web designer myself, I’ve long been torn between whether to use relative or absolute font sizes. Lately, I’ve been ignoring our IE friends and using absolute font sizes, because the design looks the same on all browsers. With relative sizes, I couldn’t get my design to look the same on IE and Firefox.
